Had to repair bracelet twice with the clasp on the bracelet it had a cool spring-loaded clasp Had to replace the spring in the clasp was lucky to find the parts and extra links.

Here is one you don't see often maybe the first Waltham issued in WW2 by the issue date could have been in the Battle of Britian. Has a Denison Case and a Waltham 470 movement if I remembered right. What I thought was cool about this one was Denison help start Waltham then moved to England to start his case Co sort of like there back together with this watch.

Did find this info on the same watch after I bought it did not pay 4000 like the article said like under 3000 at the time thought it was high, but I did well as it went up in price since. Just recently service it so has new mainspring and got the crown sorted out.

路Think I paid 2700 for it. On the crown it would slip and made a clicking noise when hand winded. So thought the crown was shot. So was lucky to find an Eterna crown for it on eBay for it and was not keeping time right so sent it to Jack at IWW. Jack was able to fix the crown problem with the original crown and serviced it and he had a new mainspring for it, so now I got a spare crown for it. Those crowns are hard to find.

Here is a Bulova A-17 the date mark on movement for 1958 my birth year one year that hard for a birth year military watch.

路No one has posted a military issued pocket watch yet. Here is a US Navy Longines torpedo watch from WW1. This has a wind indicator for telling the run time, so you wind it on time.

路And one of my favorite US Navy ships clocks from about WW1 from a tugboat that served in WW1 and WW2 has a locking bezel that has a henge that swings open to wind and set the time. Was ether on the bridge or engine room of the tugboat always wanted tug duty never got it but I now have a clock from one. The tug was named for the Wando tribe.

I only have two - A Royal Navy Nero lemania "ghost dial" stopwatch developed for submarine detection using ASDIC (early SONAR system). These were fabricated without luminious paint to avoid interfering with radiation detectors on Nuclear subs. Not to be confused with the "Torpedo Stopwatch" as this watch's function was to time the echo of a sonar "ping". Calibrated in yards for salt water .
And an Australian WW11 Handley cased (V for state of Victoria) General Service/Wireless Telegraphy intended for radio operators.

You might just have wrong case back? I got this from a friend who was issued this he also knew I was a boatswain mate and also gave me a boatswain pipe another thing I collect. Some info on the GG-W-113 if it hacks you got a GG-W-113 with wrong dial and hands if it doesn't hack you got one like mine with wrong case back.

Another one I am glad I got before tariffs. Not a great touch up lume done my MOD. This one went through a few MWR members before I got it. That's the sad part of tariffs were watches get flipped around from all over the world and tariffs ended it.

路Hanhart 417 issued Bund chronograph. This one was a pain no US watcher I tried could handle it. Ended up sending it to Germany to Frank who knows vintage Hanhart's and has parts to get this in top shape. Glad I sent it to Germany before tariffs that's crazy putting tariffs on stuff we already own nuts. And glad I bought it before tariff's since it came from a German seller. Fill for you guys who got in our hobby late after tariff's were started.

路Here is an interesting clock. It's from the captain's cabin from the HMAS Australia a cruiser that served in WW2 the captain got killed by a kamikaze attack I think on the invasion of Okinawa about the same time my dad's ship the USS Bunker Hill got hit by a kamikaze by dad escaped the fire from jumping off the flight deck to a catwalk along the edge of the flight deck so this ship served alongside my dad's ship why we should treat our allies better. Got this from England to my door in 3 days before tariff's a cool clock but with sad history of what happen to their captain.

路Here is my Czech issued Eterna got is some years ago I spotted it on eBay for a great price could not pass it up. I had this Eterna strap in my parts box I bought years before I got the watch just in case I got a watch to put it on a perfect match.

路This was made for the US Army Signal Corps in WW1 think there were 6 makers for these. This one a Zenith surprise collecting all of them like the dirty dozen did not become a big thing like that did. Was lucky on this one spotted it under the radar on eBay dot it cheap and was in great shape like mint.
