Some drool worthy vintage JLCs in here but I've always had a major soft spot for the modern Reverso and the Sector dial on page 6. Incredible watches!

Here are a couple of LeCoultre's:

Would like to add a Reverso at some point...

As I venture out my vintage collection from the typical Swiss brands ; ie IWC, Rolex, Omega, Ulysse Nardin I’ve come to realize just how stunning (and diverse styles) JLCs dials and cases are. Total works of art; and worthy of the highest praise for form and beauty.

A jumbo with NO DATE!! WANT 😲😲😲😝😝😝

Here is mine. Would be perfect if it were no date!!

LeCoultre is my favorite brand outside of Omega. And the first totally random vintage reference that I fell in love with was the Valjoux 72-powered E335 Master Mariner. I went through four different examples until I found the right one (though "right" for me doesn't necessarily mean most correct, in this case! wrong crown and imperfect movement, butbthe dial and hands that had haunted my dreams for three years):

Here's an example I previously had that I ended up stupidly selling to a friend for wayyy too low to fund a 2446c GMT:

Such pretty watches, especially the jumbo one 😝

I was going to put this in the “other watch brand” section, but putting Jaeger LeCoultre in a sub-form showing the ETA logo just seemed wrong😲...

Often mangled, let’s start with how to pronounce the brand... I like this version, though I rarely say it aloud.

A brief history of the manufacture as told by... 😉

And some mine over the years, all vintage so far.

This thread is dangerous. The history video is amazing. I want one now. A vintage piece wouldn't hurt 😉

I really like those chronos, because they have the one thing that all Omega Speedmasters lack: a usable, rotating external bezel. This is my dad's 1950s P812 bumper (I think). Researching it just to identify it revealed listings varying from around $500 to over $2,000, so I'd appreciate any opinions on its value. I figured that the band was a cheap generic replacement until I came across the exact same one on one or two of the examples I came across. Thanks in advance for any info.

Hadn’t worn this in awhile so I actually ‘set’ the date and slipped her on 😁:
