Hello, cristos, than you. Thats fun, the world is so small. As so often these watches appear different in nature. The script is faded due to the fact that the metal particles in the paint have oxidized. Those metal pigments contain copper and copper salts are dark. So the paint is all there but darkened. It should get revitalized. I have to think about that, for what did I study chemistry if not for those purposes. I thought the overall appearence of the Dial would be much worse and I was worried more about the spots. But it appears beautifully oily blueish and changes to grey or dark black with light. Beautyful. I am buying those watches to wear them. With a pefectly preserved watch I would have problems. I have a really pristine railtrack one, just as you posted in the SS and gold furniture thread. That has no wrist time due to obvious reasons, which is a pitty however.

馃榾 ... the reason is much less noble: I have italian origins and so use to talk with my hands you know. That's a insane combination with a watch like that in proximity to things like doors, walls, bottles and so on.....

You're right but to make things worse it has a original flat domed glass. Ho often can that be polished until it should be replaced. You see its really dramatic 馃う

I think you should adjust your phone display contrast... Usually nowadays the phone manufacturers provide these abilities to their products. Cz sometimes the manufacture calibrated display aren't as good for personal tastes.
