My favorite ...
Any version of the Speedmaster date/moonphase model with the Cal 1866 is special. Whether in a steel or gold case, or with a black or creme or silver dial, it is attractive, but for whatever reasons they just aren't that popular with collectors. You get all the performance and DNA of the regular 1861 with the cool additions of a date and moonphase indication with the upgraded finished 1866 movement.
My only complaints are that the chrono hand blocks the moonphase dial and the moon itself is just a reflective circle. I would much rather they done something else with the moon (smiley face or even a yellow moon would be better).

All the Moon phase references in professional cases are extremely fascinating and special as well as being in some cases extremely rare because they are produced in very few pieces (36893031 is one of these).
Not appreciated by collectors?
I wouldn't say so considering the prices reached for example by 3450809 and the same 36893931.
The 357530 and 357520 are also beautiful and can still be found at "humane" prices.
Interesting adventurer combo
