Do you know if this adds any height?
What's the point? Not a lot to see back there. More than my new one though, all you see of that is the red writing on the rotor.

I'm not really sure, I'm completely okay with steel case backs and tend to prefer the way they feel on my wrist. Plus, I've always been more interested in looking at my dial.

Seems like the view is important to some though.

My question is more academic/technical.

I think it thins the watch slightly. That's the main reason why I'm thinking about buying this.

Gotcha- so you'd have a 2220.80 with close to 2531 proportions. That'd be nice.

Heresy!

Just in case anyone was curious- the Apollo 11 50th anniversary flat link fits perfectly with forstner pre 2018 seamaster end links. I'm going to guess it would fit the current gen seamasters as well with the correct end links.

I really like the tank-tread bracelet on this ref and find it ridiculously charming and a lot more comfortable than I expected, so that'll go back on soon but nice to have options.

A little more nato action
I can match that Nato action with some black on black Nato action!

I noticed that you have multiple steps in your date window, I have just a chamfer. ( Hey! I am nerding about unimportant stuff, just like the speedy guys)
