/\ I might be biased but I think that’s the best one.

Should be sleeping, but had to show one sleeper of a Seamaster!! I used to dismiss this version, but it's actually now one of my favorite dials = )

... I've also considered sending a 552 powered watch to Omega to have them build me one. Per a comment @Archer made Omega has a policy that they can do this as long as they have service Parts on hand, there is a member on watchuseek that supposedly had this done. Unless something has changed in the last year.
The watchmaker that made mine said the Omega no longer provides OEM parts for vintage watches to their Auth. Service partners, but the notion that Omega will do it is quite surprising (and awesome, too)!

I just purchased this new Omega Seamaster 300m in "Summer Blue" I wasn't planning on purchasing this beauty, but I was at my local AD and they had one in stock so I pulled the trigger. I absolutely love this 75th Anniversary model...the color is awesome and I love the special case back.

Bigger congratulations on the understanding wife! My Summer blue was something of a 40th birthday gift from mine.

A 1967 and a watchco.

Beautiful pair. I definitely want to add a watchco no date to the collection. That and maybe a flightmaster!

Seeing that I got a Seamaster for Father's day, I can join the thread.

I can hardly believe their choice, 75th anniversary 300M Diver Professional in Summer Blue

What a great gift!

I am NOT meaning this as negative in any way, as it’s a nice photo, but it really doesn’t do this piece justice as it’s a phenomenally great looking watch!!!

I originally wanted a blue one but it just didn’t do it for me, so eventually got the black one which I really do love.

If this colour scheme had been available though, it would have been a slam dunk!

I will confess, having never seen one in person, to be rather non-fussed about the summer blue dials.
Then I saw this on YaTube!

The thing with these (all the summer blue) dials is just how intensely different they are in different lighting conditions. They do not at all look the same In outdoor light versus indoor LED or fluorescent, when it is cloudy vs bright, or in filtered sunlight.

I know that it is true that blue dials generally look different in different lighting versus black dials (for obvious reasons), but the gradient and texture really magnify the effect.
