Summer is over and the fake but so comfortable rubber strap is off.

And back to the equally comfortable bracelet. I have really missed the weight and solid feeling.

Bought my 2254.50 new in December 2008. 1120 workhorse works beautifully. I love it.

And this here baby from 1962/63.

Hi Hen, would you please share the model of this rubber strap fitting to the 2254.50. Thx in advance

Thank you so much Hen. After all it’s just a strap. As long as this fits flush 😀

It does fit flush and it wears great, probably because for the first time with a strap the holes line up perfectly for my wrist. The only thing I dont like about it apart from the fact that it is a counterfit product is the shiny bit at the "endlink" and the metal clasp looks a bit "plasticky". It made me want the real thing, but its still too expensive.

Change the springbars if you get one, mine fell apart after wearing it a summer.

I believe the shiny bit at the "endlink" owes to this specific strap belonging to the Aqua Terra AT150 design, all together. Re cost of original vs replica this is legit to consider as long as the latter is not complete junk 😀

New member joined today! Very happy to join you all. My Seamaster has been away at Omega for a full service for a while and just got it back from my local jeweller. Been using a cheap Jaques Lemans watch while it was away. Very happy to have it back. Also just inherited an older Omega from my late father, who had it passed to him from his late brother. Obviously not the original strap. Not sure what it is?

This sweet thing. Currently heading back to Omega to redo warranty work that had failed.

Maybe someone who owns both or has worn both can answer for you, but I can say that I have always found this bracelet to wear super comfortably. It drapes silkily over the wrist. My only issue with it has only ever been that I wish it tapered, but that is across the board for all SMP300.
