Like yourself, I would love the blue one also as I miss my original Bond Blue Wave dial that I purchased in 1996 and regrettably sold.
Loved this model. At the age of 18, I did everything I could to afford one with the gold bezel, hands, crown and omega sign on clasp. But once again a fool, I sold this piece a few years back. Much regret.
I like that model as well. I actually just parted with this one to buy my new AT. It was a great watch to fly under the radar, but still feel like a solid tool watch. My favorite part was how slim it was compared to the newer ones. The integrated bracelet is neat but limiting.
Top picture is awesome.... Until i saw this i didnt realise there were vintage pieces with applied Omega logo on the dial - ive only ever seen printed!!
They're a fantastic watch, underappreciated & undervalued too at the moment IMO so a good time to buy. It's unusual for none to be for sale in the UK. They're not so scarce of late as they were when I bought mine, I wonder if part of that was the release of the white dial ceramic Seamaster 300 giving further white dial options. Just stay on the search as I'm sure more will be for sale soon enough.
Thank you! I love this watch so much, it’s a recent release, here : https://www.omegawatches.com/en-gb/watches/seamaster/seamaster-1948/product
Just taken out of the box! I know purists don’t like the background story but what a stunning watch in person.
