Why oh why they are not making them any more ...
I ask myself the same question. I'd love it if Omega made a Seamaster Pro in 38mm with all the latest tech. Co-axial escapement, silicon hairspring and balance wheel. It would fit my wrist perfectly and I'd be seriously tempted.

My first nice Swiss watch. I searched for a watch that fit my 5 3/4" wrist and had a nice version of the ETA-2892. My most worn watch. It's very legible and has a comfortable bracelet and clasp.

36mm on my 6" wrist. fits nicely although at times will need to squint. 38mm would be sweet!

Long story short, My dad gifted me his midsized omega watch he bought on ebay back in 2002. Massive problem is they threw away the box and took it to a grey market watch repair shop because no omega boutiques exist over there, the ******** watch dude swapped out the movements with a scratched out serial number movement forever blacklisting my watch from Omega, so I’m stuck with this watch no matter what, I can’t get it serviced at an OB so third party service forever, i recently got my local OB to order me a replacement bezel though haha.

IF my stepmom kept the box i could had easily given Omega my watch with the documents and they could had re engraved the serial number.

Sorry to hear about what happened to the SMP that your Dad had gifted you. What that watchmaker did was so dodgy. I hope that the watch still works OK.

My midsize Planet Ocean 37.5mm. Definitely takes some getting used to after only wearing 40mm+ divers but I think it really fits my 6.25" wrist.

Nice. If I had to get a replacement for my midsize SMP, this would be on my shortlist. One of the things I like about the Planet Ocean is that the bezel is a lot easier to grip, especially with wet hands.
