Without pressure from the pawl finger the index wheel only oscillates as there’s nothing keeping it from turning both ways. I have spare parts but not this one.

I have been waiting for a long time for this beautiful hummer to be on my wrist and finally... (I'll receive a 19mm strap this afternoon)

Hummers? How about 23 of them? Note: There is an Omega F300, a Certina F300, an Accuquartz tuning fork model, a couple Bulova quartz models, and a Bulova Computron digital in the mix. A good time to check for several who need batteries. But even so, the sound level of all the runners is quite impressive.

Hi all, I’ve found at a reasonable price a new hummer, a nice Geneve. I’ve serviced it by myself, and I’m happy with the result.

The bracelet has all the pieces and it’s a bit too long for my small wrist. Have you any advice for a replacement bracelet or strap? I wasn’t able to shorten it, the screws are stuck.

That model has a dedicated bracelet, and AFAIK,there is no suitable substitute. I’d say you’re stuck with that one.

Take it to a jeweller. We have one who can do all my wife’s repairs and can shorten my watch bracelets

Are you sure the clasp isn’t adjustable? If it’s a fold-over, it should be…

It’s adjusted to its smallest size, unfortunately. I tried with ultrasonic wash, petrol, wd-40, flame, with no result. Only one screw came out. I think that after 50 years they are stuck inside with no hope to make them out.
I had to fix the screwdriver two times, the blade broke twice…

I’ll try to bring the watch to my watchmaker. I’m just an hobbyist.
