Again in the Airman rabbit hole 😀
This one was my first pick of 2025.
Airman Special from 1968, fully working and quite full set, with its original fixoflex bracelet and the wooden box:

Congrats! That one has some nice honest wear on it - was it a single owner?

Thanks! Yes, it comes from a single owner in the US.

I know it's far too soon to say this, but: dibs 😁

Maybe I should add a vintage airman to my 2025 wishlist. These are so cool. Someone had one at the Mid-Atlantic meetup and it was really fun to see the hacking feature.

Wow, congratulations. If I may ask, how did you find that?

I just picked up a c.1986 Airman (no box or bracelet!)... will post photos once I have the watch in hand.

Thanks and sorry! Looking at your watch at the meetup really renewed my interest in collecting one of these.

Does anyone know: did any other watches ever have a hacking feature like this, or is a unique feature?

Thanks Gilberto 😀
Yes it is, that's the main reason why I bought this in a flash when I saw it 😉

I'm wearing my reissue to tide me over while I hunt for a vintage one.

Latest arrival for me. Serial 916,xxx and with the crown logo I figure c.1967.

The hacking wire sadly is not present but I’m in the queue for James at Nevada Watch.
