You mean like this one:

Oops! In my defence I can only say the colour looked too blue not grey enough. Mea culpa!

The first snap showed the CWC on a Yellowdog Strap (neoprene NATO with the extra flap deleted). I think the second is OEM, but I have so many different NATOs it's tough to tell.

lol, I was bored with the silver/black insert and wanted an all black insert so it resembled the 2254. I found one in the bowels of eBay! As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I was only messing. It’s clear you like to mod, the PlanPro is evidence of that. It really does look good.

I have the original insert for ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ I change my mind again. It’s just a bit of fun after all.

I want this strap - the Regent St OB told me that I can't have it as it's designed to fit the Planet Ocean case & won't fit a 2254.. Can you please confirm the part number- I thought I needed 98000085, is this correct
Many thanks,

Many thanks,

They do fit. I’ve popped mine on to rubber to wear to work for a bit (hence why it looks grubby).
I’ve no idea of the part number though unfortunately.

Just bought a pre-owned electric blue one for my dad... now I need a 2254 for myself after reading this thread!!

I have a 6.3’ wrist, have been considering whether to get the 2254 or the midsized 2252.50... any suggestions?

I’d try both and see which you feel comfortable with. Only thing is would you be happy with your dad having a bigger one than you?

When I bought my 2254 I considered the mid size as I was mostly wearing 38mm watches at the time. The shop where I was browsing persuaded me that I should go bigger and I’m glad I did. My wrist is 7.25” though.

Thank you for the input!! I'm sure the full size will fit on your 7.25' wrist superbly.

I tried at the local AD the modern 36mm seamaster, felt a tad on the small side but I think still looked fine. I own the speedy so I still feel comfortable to wear the full size, but 41-42mm is the upper limit for me. I'm currently torn with the following thoughts:
1. Since my dad's wrist is very similar size, I think we can pull off both sizes. Part of me want to get a mid size and exchange with my dad's 2255.80 from time to time in the future so we can enjoy both sizes.
2. On the other hand, I know for a dive watch 41mm seems more "proper", and the mid size is less popular and the resell value will not be as good as the full size.

It was my first Omega, the great watch. Bought it in 2007. Two years ago gift it to my father. Very robust and nice looking watch.
