I do .
It's a very 90s type of bracelet
The speedy style is great
Bad party is the speedy one that fits this is now rare and costs more than the whole watch did retail
I had no idea that the speedy bracelets have changed

I generally prefer the Speedy bracelet too. Mine came on the Bond originally but I also have an non America’s Cup Seamaster (2230.50) which I borrow the Speedy bracelet from - the non America Cup I usually wear on leather rather than a bracelet. Oddly enough I’ve never worn the non AC on the Bond bracelet.

I gotta say, I just don’t like the Bond bracelet. I somehow find it to be distractingly unattractive- on any watch (2254, the GMT, SM300). Not even sure I understand why. The speedy bracelet, however, totally nails it for me.

Does anyone else feel this way about the Bond bracelet?
Yes, me! I hate the Bond bracelet, far too "busy" & detracts from the watch. My 2254 rotates between the Speedy bracelet, the black NATO from the Moonwatch (as per my avatar)& a GasGasBones SPV3. I'm taken by the 98000085 OEM rubber strap but not at the £230 I was quoted by the Royal Exchange OB yesterday...

Trust me it's not worth it for that price
We could always trade hahaha

This one is a keeper for me. Bought it in 2007 and still love the combination of function and aesthetics.

I saw one - 98000085, supposedly OEM for £45? on a certain auction site.

Yes, I thought that too. However the seller states genuine and at that price worth a punt even if only to try out the style.

Sounds worth it to me .
There's nothing special about the gen so it's probably the same thing anyway

Hmmmmm, reminds me of a Seamaster I had modified. I had a Planet Ocean Bezel and second hand fitted along with a relumed Seamaster 2230.50 dial.

When I have serious work to do, I usually go with the CWC. It's fairly close in appearance to the 2254 and I won't feel as bad if it gets scarred.
