Very early 2852 when omega were still using the Seamaster crowns
Nice. Can you post a picture of the inside of the back cover? I am interested to see the ref.nr.

This sounds like a silly question, but mine is off getting serviced so I can't measure. But... what is strap size? I think it is a 16 mm buckle, but I can't remember the lug end size.

Do you think appropriate for 2852? I have the original buckle, so thinking about finding some semblance of an appropriate strap. I'd prefer to find brown croc, but that is being pretty picky.

Has the price of these recently jumped? All the decent ones that aren't in Japan seem to be priced over two grand?

Ok. Now we're talkin'!

A thread on a watch that is near and dear to my heart. Love these Constellation models. Probably best of all Omegas and better than most other vintage watches.

Two live here, neither particularly remarkable, but one was my daily watch for years and the other is my favorite.

First ol' South American redo watch purchased in the early days of Ebay when I didn't know any better. Still runs great and ought to wear it more often.

Current best on hand.

There is a dial on eBay right now you could probably switch it out.

In a thread absolutely filled with beauties, this one really resonates with me.
Please tell me more about it - I'm new here and happen to be looking for a Constellation - would love some details, particularly how old it is and how rare it is ( in case I start a quest to find one just like it )
Thanks

At this point, it would be very hard to find one like that...

So, I guess what you are saying is, my strategy of going back and forth with you until I reach 200 posts, just so I can post a WTB ad for this model Constellation, is not going to prove worthwhile?
