New pix, today showing the custom Shell Cordovan strap in Horween #8 made by a member here a few years ago.

Can somebody please explain to me why this watch is cheaper then a beat up speedmaster from the 60's. This got to be one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen. It’s definitely in my top 10. Amazing watch. And every time I see it it's getting more beautiful.

WOW ! Couldn't believe these rare of rare amazing WG Connies exist! Thank you so much for sharing the link.
I have a much much less expensive example in 18K WG ref. 168005/6. Luckily, it is in big mint condition (IMHO).
Thanks

Love your bracelet, these are not so commonly seen, here is my version made by Omega, too.

Thank you for your swift response 😀

[EDIT] @TexOmega Is it an original Omrga matching bracelet ? It's rare by itself! Thanks

Original Omega bracelet, but I found and bought it separate from this 14381.

It is from the era, though. Yes, relatively uncommon compared to BOR.

Can’t compete with the condition of @septentrio s 2852 but I won’t complain. Still very much in love with the two:

Does anyone else think these must be severely underpriced? There seems to be lots of people wanting them and they rarely come up for sale.. I think all the people with them don't want to sell because it doesn't seem worth it..
Like another said... Why is it that even beat up 80's speed masters are going for five grand and the pie pan arrowhead that is just as much a grail, seems stuck in time? I remember five years ago they were going for not much less then they are now? Meanwhile, everything else has shot up. Why didn't this place value these higher because the people here seem to dictate the market on the whole?
Sorry if I sound like a jerk, I just never understood this phenomenon.

The hype on big size 39 -42mm sport watch is pretty much the reason. The piepan arrow heads are much rarer but attractive to us but not mainstream.

I don't know.. I think there is truth to that; however, the datejust has gone up tremendously, also even regular seamasters and other more basic three handers from omega have gone up allot.. both of those are the same size.. it seems there is just something with this watch that keeps it from going up as much as other watches.
Datejust have almost tripled in five years and this watch is every bit the equivalent.
