Thank you friends for the frank opinion. I guess i wanted too much for it to fit my wrist.

Problem is, my friend bought it unworn/unsized just yesterday. Now that i have spent time trying it and removed the stickers, i have caused it's value to drop by a fair bit. So i will pay him what he paid for it. Might put in an original leather with deployment to try soften the look.

I supposed many of you are right that i like it too much and am finding reasons to wear it for a while... 😀
Hey mate
Despite what i said, all that matters is how u like it
Its a cracker of a watch so enjoy

No need to find reasons; enjoy it and sell it later for something smaller if it doesn't work out

If I may ask, how old are you? If you are young (early 20s), you may find your wrist will get bigger with age (gain muscle, gain weight) and you "grow into it" later in life.

Indeed, I just spent a somewhat eye-watering sum on an original bracelet for my Speedmaster Triple Date...

I am 46 already. But with recent work from home and less outdoor activities, there's a real chance of my wrist getting fat...

Actually nato could also be a consideration. Will see what pops up.

I’d pass. My gigantic wrist is 6.5”, I passed on many loved pieces.
There are much more options for you out there, keep on hunting. Don’t settle.

TRUE STORY
One time I saw a woman wearing a larger watch. I married her, Just so I can hide that watch from her for 25 years. It doesn’t matter how beautiful, smart and successful she is. Despite all that, I married her and saved her from the embarrassment of wearing a watch that is too large. True story...

Yes, my wife has been cooking and her dishes improved tremendously. Weight loss noticed as well. Will need smaller size clothes soon. 😉

So, retail will rebound soon i think. Either you need smaller size or bigger size clothes after our local lock down of 2+ months... wahahaha

Might help if you wear it above the wrist bone mate

Not yet mine but i got to play with it. Should i persuade my friend who has just gotten it to let me have it instead? It looks BIG on both our wrists hence the hesitation.

Unworn and unsized pc before it ended up with us. Hahaha. Once i brought it home, wasted no time 'molesting' it all over. It's a beauty and i kept staring at it. Just the size that's holding me back.
Waaaay too big for you mate.

Wearing above above wrist bone is a bit uncomfortable when my wrist turns but you are right, the watch does seem smaller. 😀

Yes, agree with most that it is too big for me. BUT, i might as well enjoy wearing it as some suggested, since i am in love with it's dial. 😀

So it is here to stay for a while!!!

I have smaller wrists, about 6.9 in.
There are still big watches I wear like a PAM 243J but I wear that on on strap so its bigness is not as obvious.
Still I had a Rolex DSSD and I wore that comfortably and happily for quite some time.
Short of these pie pan watches you see in the Rap world and Instagram celeb land I think 44mm and smaller is acceptable.
Sure it may be a little bigger than ideal BUT if you like it that is what matters!
