Shinola watches, made in Detroit!

My co-worker mentioned near his house there is a factory making high-end bikes, leather goods and $600 - $700 watches. I wonder if anyone who knows about watches think of this brand? I wish they'd make automatic watches, I'd love to own one as a collector item and support Detroit. I really like this design.

I special ordered a 50 year commemorative Ford Mustang piece made by Shinola...coming out in Oct. Looking forward to mixing a couple of my vices!!😀

These look very nice. And I like that they are made in the USA with Swiss parts. That worked for Bulova for years.

I just have a hard time with the name:
