Hi all,

Two of my watches are in need of some minor TLC at the minute.

My Seamaster needs a new battery and my Speedmaster Apollo-Soyuz needs a service as isn’t keeping great time.

Are there any recommended independents in the UK (I’m based near Leeds but willing to travel post lockdown). Or should I just take them to Omega? Think they (Omega) want approx £700 for the Apollo-Soyuz service and about £90 for the Seamaster battery replacement.

Can recommend Swiss Time Services, having used them for years - based in Essex.

Like many or the larger watchmakers, they are closed at the moment.
