Two questions: why would they say there are scratches on the case back and crystal when the watch is only 2 weeks old and I have been very careful with it? (The reason I sent it in was because there was a fiber under the crystal) i hope omega didn't damage it. I have video evidence before I sent it in that the watch wasn't in bad shape. Second, how much longer is the wait now that the service is in progress?
That is just their description of condition, I wouldn't make anything of it. The estimated completion date is given.
If you wore it for two weeks, it has scratches. Service time will depend on their queue and scope of work. You’ll wait until it’s done. At least you won’t be scratching it up further while they’re working on it.
Standard Operating Procedure...they always describe a watch as having 'scratches all over' or something similar. But once your watch is out of your possession things can happen.
Exactly to them every watch has scratches even if it rested on the cushion of air and your wrist was made of microfiber cloth!
