if you are in the USA, Nesbit's in seattle has done a few of mine and a few for friends. had a sapphire sandwich fixed as well as an apollo xi 25th anniv. serviced. both came out well, and did what was asked of them.

definitely seeing more of it around here, it’s not especially hard to spot at the moment, it’s kind of like a concierge crossed with a dictionary crossed with a customer service phone line. Not sure if it will get better.

what’s the angle on using AI here, is it just getting past the 200 post count to be able to sell or what?

Now that it's been brought it to my attention and I can see it, I really can't unsee it now 🤬 Anyway, find an independent watch maker with a parts account if only to save yourself months of waiting. The bonus is they are smart too, and nothing artificial about them.
