Yes, some can. But will they...? You made quite an entrance in this forum!

Obviously this is a forum full of very sensitive people, all I wanted to know is already said, if it is identifiable means it is an omega not a fake, get a life!!!

All you want to know may be already said, but all the OF family want to read is not. And being agressive won't help.
I guess other pictures, context can be a great addition. Oh, and a thanks.

Hey! I'm not sensitive!

As you obviously have (just) enough brain cells to find this forum, I'm sure you can figure out the rest for yourself.
All the information you seek is there to be found.

In closing.

If this was a sedate club and you entered with that attitude, I'd beckon to Jeeves and quietly mention that he should have Mugsy and Fugger throw you the fυck out.

C'mon now, let's give the new guy a break... @sernicfon here's your chance to start over 🤔

As for the watch, I'll give it a shot based on the limited photos. I believe this is known as a left-crown-tank, commonly referred to as an L 8 6 01, for obvious reasons, manufactured for the Southern Hemisphere market. These are rarely found in the wild and I would recommend having it serviced by a qualified watchmaker.

Please, thank you, and cheers!

Thanks for your good will. Now with the aditional photos yo can see It is just a regular t17, I got it serviced and it is working fine, the dial is in poor condition and the band is cheap and too small, can you suggest whats the best way to find a new dial and original band? Thanks in adv

Personally I'd leave that dial as is. Patina on an older piece is expected, to put a new dial in would, in my opinion, not look correct. I really wouldn't know what band it came on originally, so I'd just look on line for bands you think would look nice on the watch.

Hi everybody! Now it looks much cleaner and it is easier to read. I am happy with the restoration, any idea of a good strap?
