ID help - 14k gold vintage Omega with an unusual serial number and reference

Hello all, I've got an odd one for the gurus. I'd love to know what year this little thing is and a model name if it had one? I can't get a hit on the serial number or movement number in the online databases.

It is a solid gold Omega "something or other" with reference number B6535 and serial number 16783. This 33mm 14k case is housing one of the rarer Omega 361 manual wind movements with serial number 11931304.

Its an odd little piece with the fancy lugs, honeycomb dial, with 18k indicies and logo.

I've read that this movement was used a lot for gold dress watches destined for the French market pre-1960 but I really have no clue.

14k would be typically US market. But are you sure it is gold? I don’t see a gold mark?

US Omega cases don't typically have traditional hallmarks that we see on Swiss or French cases.
The case was made by DiVincenzo & Arienti of Brooklyn, New York City.

Correct, its got a D&A stamp next to the 14k gold stamp.

The 11.9 million serial puts the movement production date to around 1949/1950. Give it time to get from Switzerland to US and I'd say early 1950s.

“OXG” mark on movement denotes USA import.

this. D&A also made cases of presentation watches for various brands. I had a Tudor from a Lions Club type organization engraved in the 50's.
