I'm thinking it's about time to start rocking the double denim combo again.

Coming soon to a WRUW thread near you.

I imagine @STANDY 's Time for a Rum Darwin GTGs look something like this.

Just saw an episode of Craftman's Legacy about Detroit Denim Co. American made selvage denim, I think they also do bespoke tailoring.
Jeans look spectacular

3sixteen is having some kind of an event this week for their 1 year LA store opening anniversary. I know some of items will be in store only, maybe Ill pick up a pair of ct100xz (unsanf).

Sounds awesome. I wish I was in the states! 😁

Beautiful mate. Thank you. CAN'T WAIT.

Damn OF is a dangerous place haha

It's dangerous in a good way! 😉

Where are you located, @sdre? If you prefer brick and mortar stores maybe I can recommend some. 😀

Singapore mate. I know there's a few denim shops in town. I might go down and try. But jeez I know the lady is gonna be giving me a disapproving look. Most Singaporean sizes are 30-32 inches waist.

The Denim Store in 313. Prices are a bit higher than Denimio and OkayamaDenim though. But it's a good place to start if you wanna try out a couple of different brands and fits.

Good luck, buddy!

When I was a kid in the 1980s we used to trawl through second hand stalls to find Big E Levi’s from the 50s and 60s - £15 - £30 a pair, always wore them rolled up to show off the red selvedge , our diamond pattern socks and Brogues of course.
No pictures so it won’t count.
.......sorry old dude reminiscing!
Wow. I've always wondered what the denim scene was like back in the 80s. Now I have an idea of what it was like. 😁 Would have been great if you had a picture of you rocking those Big E's!

It's never too old for anyone to wear denim. Maybe you should get back in the game. 😀
I’ve still got a little skin in the game..........I’m not in Corduroys and Slippers just yet.

So I dropped by The Denim Store and I tried the Nudie Jeans tilt tor dry flat selvage. Fits me okay but I'm a fan of apc. Anyone knows if there's an equivalent of this cut, in selvage but by apc?

@Nathan1967 - Keeping it old school! Talk about vintage! 👍 Those Big E's are hard to come by these days. Never seen those '69 but it's good to know.

That exposed selvedge coin pocket. 🙄 Very nice! And the crotch area is holding up pretty well. 😁😁

Well, APC used to not have any stretch denim. But now they do, just like Nudie. Both denims have similar weight, Nudie - 12.5oz and APC - 12.75oz. If you want a smiliar cut by APC, you may wanna try APC Petit Standard, just like the ones @micampe has. Please remember to not get mixed up with APC Petit New Standard. That's a slimmer cut of Petit Standard.
