Log in your paypal account and check if you see the same message. I don't think paypal will send you anything from other than @paypal.com

You should be able to see the money in your account with "On Hold" on red underneath, if that is the case. It happens with new accounts. But the details are explained, there, inside your account and not with an email as I am aware of. Again, by entering your account through your browser and NOT through this email.

That phone number is for a mobile/cellphone, not a fixed "help desk".

It’s a scam!!! Could you please play this game with the scammer and send a rock instead of a watch?

can’t remember who did this last time by I had a bellyache of laughing so much :D:D:D

Just the wording of the email reads like a cheap scam. Run a mile.

So your funds are not actually on hold? I wonder how they knew you had just shipped a package.

i have not shipped the package yet, luckily. they just want me to send the tracking numbers when i send the package so they can release my funds, if that makes sense.

I guess I am asking if the funds are actually on hold or not. Are you just believing the email, or actually checking your PP account? The email seems very suspicious. If you send a scammer a tracking number, he may be able to have the package diverted.

If PP really needs the tracking number, I would go directly to your account and enter it. Don't send it to that email address, it's an obvious phishing email. The writing is terrible.

i do not think the funds are on hold. i am not believing the mail since they are asking to send the tracking number via the mail address and not directly in my own account, as you mention.
    thanks for the help

This does seem like a scam (based on that email address alone), but I’m trying to figure out the angle. What would they get if you send them the tracking number of the package? Other than the ability to track it? Maybe they would escalate if you respond, saying it must be shipped to a different location (but if you already shipped, you can’t do that).

    Very strange.

Can’t seem to find the thread I was talking about (I believe it was February last year as I was on holiday if I remember well) but it was the exact same “modus operandi”... it was funny!!!!

I guess demanding the SN is a way to put some pressure on the seller to ship the watch as well to reassure him/her. They do need to ask for something if not how could they explain the missing funds on PP account? I also believe they can change the shipping address this way it am I wrong?
