Model: Omega Seamaster 166.0251 from late '70s/early '80s.
Case: Tonneau-ish with integrated bracelet. (Omega was first to patent watches with integrated bracelet.) Case and bracelet have been brushed. (From factory, beveled edge was originally polished.) Both show light wear.
Dial: Matte black with off-white patina developing on hour and minute markers. Watch is 35 years old, so lume is very faint. Because of good lume on hands, I believe they are replacement, but they are the correct hands for this watch. Crystal is clean. Date wheel was just replaced. I'll include original separately.
Bracelet: Integrated and tapered. Two size settings available. I think this would fit up to a 7-inch wrist.

You don't see these very often. This is commonly mistaken for a Baby Ploprof. Although they do share some design cues, this is actually a 166.0251, made for a short time from 1979-1980, and possibly '81. Just back from watchmaker for a new date wheel. Keeping accurate time.

Excerpt from page 333 of Omega's "A Journey Through Time":
"A diver's watch water-resistant to 120m, calibre 1012 with date, luminous black dial, tritium diamond-shaped and baton hands, unidirectional rotating bezel with 0-60 markings, mineral crystal, barrel-shaped steel case, circular stain-brushed case middle with polished lateral bevels [mine have been brushed], screwed crown protection by shoulders, screwed case back, integrated bracelet. (ref ST 366.0858 on the base 166.0251)"

Also featured in John Goldberger's "Omega Sportswatches."

Price: $1,550 + $25 insured shipping (USD)

The price on these is all over the place. I've seen people asking $2,500-$4,000. I believe my price is fair for a rare vintage diver from one of the top names in watchmaking, so the price is firm. For trades, interested only in vintage Wittnauer or Longines.

Fine print: PayPal only, from a verified account. Will ship when payment clears. I'll cover PayPal fees. Watch will be sent USPS Priority or Registered with full insurance. CONUS only. I have a string of flawless references in the Watch Deals section of Watchuseek and TRF (same username) and can provide more. I'll check buyers for feedback/references, as well. PM me with any questions.

Returns accepted (minus shipping and insurance) if watch is not authentic.

Thanks. ... Deldog
