·Please find For Sale my Seiko Sports 5 Speedtimer with period correct bracelet. This is a beautiful JDM Chronograph with the famous 6139 Automatic movement found in the Pogue model.
I’m particularly drawn to the case shape of this one - it’s part UFO part Sea Creature to my eyes- very 70’s and very cool. However, it was really the dial that drew me in to buy this one, the condition is great and I find the colours very appealing.
The Watch has recently undergone a service by @siralan. It’s now running beautifully.
Case - 42mm approx - a few scratches, no evidence of polishing, original bevels and finishes in place
Caseback - great condition, no scrapes and gouges
Lugs -20mm
Bracelet- Seiko 5 Sports Bracelet set up for my 6 3/4” wrist, spare link and further micro adjustment to fit 7” wrist
Dial- beautiful condition - Lumed Hour Batons rotating inner bezel English/Kanji Day Wheel - blue/black 30 min subdial
Hands - Military style, Orange Chrono Hands
Crystal - in good condition, hardlex crystal
Crown & Pushers - unsigned (as is usual for Seiko)
Movement- Seiko 6139 Automatic - nice clean and freshly serviced
Serial No- dates the Watch to July 1972
