Another less common one I had
SKX399 from 1998.
7S26 movement sold only in Phillipines I was told.
Lume markers have rectangular steel borders and sweep has lollipop on short end.

The table says the 6309-704x was last produced in 1984. Didn't they make them until 1988?
DATA MUST BE MISTAKEN IN THAT CHART NON THE LESS IT IS GONE / DELETED

After haggling and more photos, should have this one tomorrow. Way too much orange on the photo. I'm guessing incandescent bulb. Strap not original will fix that. Tp replace my 1982 pepsi, which I bought new in okinawa.

Very nice JDM model.

Those incandescent bulb photos always turn up beauties in person. I know a well known Seiko expert member on another forum, who takes terrible photos with his cell phone in artificial light. But, the watches bought from him always look 10 times better when receiving them 😀.

I know what you mean I seen that with vintage stereos as well. I like crappy photos, takes time to carefully study them, find the jewel. 😎😍

My new Seiko is home, on the grapher needs service but is consistent in all positions. Very clean for it's age. All I want for it is the correct strap and buckle, is a keeper.

Small thing perhaps, but I like how the 'water resist' has turned yellow. Suits the dial.

Thanks, I like my vintage watches to look original as much as possible. But in working condition, I just polished the crystal a bit by hand, and yes the lume is not perfect but is 50 years old

Congrats, I love a good vintage turtle.

I love when the lume color goes slightly yellow on these - is the watch from 1977-1978 timeframe?

Correct march 1977. Almost 50 years a bit younger that my speed master pro.
