·Hi guys!
Need to consolidate so I have to let go of some watches.
Here’s a nice Seiko Champion Alpinist from 1963/1964. I had it fully serviced last November 2016.
Some details:
Case: 35mm, nice angular lugs. It seems to have been polished in the past, but you can still see the edges have been retained.
Dial: & hands: The dial has nice and interesting design elements – it has three different shades of gray, spider web lines and different fonts used for Seiko and Alpinist. That said, the dial is not super clean and bears dark spots / blemishes in some places. The lumes on the hands have a nice light cream color to it, unlike others I’ve seen that are green. Most of the lume plots are gone though.
Crown: unsigned, possibly replaced.
Movement: Seikosha 17J
I'm asking for USD 650.00 (head only) inclusive of Fedex International Economy (Paypal F/F). Thanks OF!
