@ibis888, the seller dropped the price another $200. It may not be a perfect example, but the price to quality ratio isn't terrible IMO.

That’s a great price… however I already have an incoming - a late 1970 -8009 Resist/Resist in really good condition that looks to be totally original. I’ll post photos when I have it in hand.

You need to please include photos!
Hi,
Here are some photos of the Seiko 6105-8000 I purchased.
I have been wearing the watch and it seems to be losing
about one minute a day, so it most likely needs a service.
Thanks Martin

Hi,
Here is one more photo.
Thanks Martin.

That's a heck of a find for 2GBP! July 1969 Proof/Proof with the hacking 6105B movement. You should have a really nice watch after a service and a new crystal. FYI: Spencer Klein sells correct replacement crystals that exactly match the OEM spec.

Thanks Martin.

My Willard from 1972. Hasn’t seen much action. Came with original waffle strap. Not my birth year, however ironically it was my Selective Service Draft year.
I’ve been looking for Slim but haven’t found one yet. They are a bit more complicated to figure out the options. @Dan S posts from his collection have been helpful

Nice watch. It took me a while to find a decent -800X. They seem far less common than the Willard.
