Hey folks. As I have done so for a while, I cruise around the net cruising watches while having my morning coffee. This 200m Diver popped up and interests me a bit but I have no basis for making a quality assessment. Thoughts and upper price point if legit? Pics attached.

Isn't that just a standard SKX007? With it being discontinued the values have started to climb, despite the fact that they made millions of them. I think the cheapest price they ever sold for new was in the $160 range.

After researching a bit more, it is an SKX007. This one was sold originally in Japan, the only ones with the 21 Jewels on the dial. There are apparently a glut of fakes out there though. Does this one look legit?

Did you win it, fair money that. If you didn’t you have your bench mark pricing.

I let it go. I figured that 200 could be used toward a piece that strikes a stronger chord. I have three vintage Omegas. I may get into the modern autos that are crafted after the vintage pieces…like Baltic or Seiko offer.
