Well, hello to all of you 😉👍

As promised, here are some pictures of my newest investment. Obviously, there's a lot of leftovers from previous owners - delicious! It will be off for a service soon enough.

I hope you enjoy!

Very nice and an excellent price.

Is yours a 165024 no period? or 165.024?

Mine, a 165024 with Olongapo Bracelet for a US Diver 1st Class(personalized)

While looking, look out for such a bracelet, very accurate for the era and comfortable.

Certificate pegs mine Jan 1967

I've just uploaded pictures of the caseback. It would seem that I won't be joining the no-dot club with this one.. 😉

Nice! When you get it serviced, ask the watchmaker if they can stabilize the lume- no need to relume it, just coat the back with a bit of binder to keep it holding together. I have had that done on a few watches to keep vintage lume intact.
That said, I have had a few with very brittle lume that just disintegrated the second the watchmaker tried to remove the hands- it’s just a roll of the dice with any vintage watch. If that happens, then a good relume to match the dial- but not all watchmakers are comfortable doing relumes- it’s an art in itself,
