I believe one sold at a Sotheby's auction the other day for around 8000 usd. Now that seems a little on the high side but who knows. I have seen them sell for 5000 usd, in fact I bought mine 2 years ago for that. Those that have been sold since have been around that price so one selling for 7500 chf seems a bit of a jump, but who knows, not long ago you could hardly give an Alaska project away now you have to pay a small fortune and add an arm, a leg and a couple of unicorn toe nails just to hold it in your hand and look at it longingly.

And a very nice example it was. I’ll bet the seller wishes he had never parted with it😁

Just a thought but some pictures might help get you a more precise valuation, good quality images in good light all help the process.

Had no intention of breaking any rules or trying to be clever. I hoped to learn its value, that’s all. Yes i plan to sell it and thought this forum might be helpful in determining what to ask. Geez. Lesson learned.

You can't sell on this forum until you have 200 posts.

Those look like pretty professional watch photographs.

I would imagine if you can take photos like that of a watch, you have a fairly solid idea of what it is worth, and if not, are more than capable of conducting a little bit of research on previous sale prices to figure it out.

Signing up to this forum, with the express intent of selling a watch is not a good look.

This is an enthusiasts forum, with a sales section attached for members in good stead. It is not eBay.

Why not just search the sales boards here, Ebay etc to see what they have sold for.
