Oh, wow...look at this (see pic below)...I believe the Dunkin' coffee darkening procedure and/or mink oil darkening procedure may have worked. On the left is the brown 21mm nylon NATO from cheapestnatostraps.com installed on my Longines Hour Angle chronograph that was originally posted in this thread...and submerged in Dunkin' coffee followed by a mink oil application to attempt darkening. On the right is the same NATO in brown (in 22mm) received yesterday from cheapestnatostraps.com and installed on my Seiko 6309-7049. It has not been submerged in Dunkin' coffee or mink oiled to attempt darkening.
Am I imagining that the NATO on the left (the one submerged in Dunkin' coffee followed by a mink oil application) is slightly darker? It sure looks like it to me! What do you people think?
Hmm... people pay tons of money to drink coffee that's been passed through a small animal's colon, maybe they'll pay a ton to drink coffee that's been used to darken Nylon watch straps! I think there's a business opportunity here
What I like best about this picture is that you are actually wearing a watch on each wrist!
I wear two watches fairly often. In that pic I was wearing my father's vintage Waltham "Ruby" and vintage Hamilton "Ross"...neither of which I wear very often because they're small and hard for me to read...even with cheaters.
