Seeking "advice" on Seamaster 2500D...

So...
I am actively shopping for a 3rd generation 41mm Seamaster Black face (plain) 2500D.
Keep watching dsio"s postings and am very grateful for their work.
Have a "few" on my watching list (ebay) and appreciate the information received in my "first" post here regarding pricing.

My questions are specifically...
Are there some "other" Omega Diver watches that perhaps I should be keeping an eye out for?
In other words...am I loosing a potential "find" by concentrating on my "grail" watch - the 3rd generation 2500D blackface Seamaster?

There are several that might "work" for my intended purpose (specifically Dress - as in Sport coat, Lucchese boots, etc), but I am focused at present on just the one.

Thank you...

The PO 2201.50 also can be found with 2500d, but more commonly with 2500C. I was cross shopping vs the 300. It's a little more subdued, but similar.

Also the seamaster heritage is a fine looking piece but costs a little more. Pre-owned ones are coming up at good prices

My vote as well. And the same price there is no doubt the PO in 42mm with the 2500 is the way to go.

I know you're looking for alternative options but I vote to stick with the 3rd Gen Seamaster.

Just cut to the chase. ::stirthepot::

Well the Tudor Harrods is availble for under 4k shipped... I'd take that over a Luminova Sub, and the price range for a tritium sub is out whack...

I don't know what you consider out of whack, but 1990s tritium Subs are in the $8k range these days. That may be expensive in absolute terms and not as affordable, but I'd wager that they will be significantly higher in 5 years.

oh they came down! I thought they were 10k. Still insane vs the 42mm PO IMHO.

They did come down. The 90s tritium pieces were the last to catch the wave on the way up, and the first to drop on the way down. I think it's probably a good time to buy them, especially if you can find one with nice lume, most are still pretty white unfortunately.
