Hello All

I am considering purchasing this quartz seamaster. I am not typically a quartz kind of guy however, i am a solid gold fan.
Reference 196750
cal 1430
14 k solid gold
the price is under $500 CAD.
The crown is omega signed though its fairly worn.

i have been searching for the same reference, but the only thing i really question is the screw on (with 4 individual screws) case back.
I found the same reference that sold on a generic buy/sell site, but it had a different caseback.

It is stamped 14K

Can anyone deter me from buying this piece ?

Thanks

Something happened to that case...hard to figure out what exactly but there are enough hi-res pictures of the Omega 196750 "Jubilee" on the internet to see that something's wrong !

I think the caseback is aftermarket never seen on of those with screws but I might be wrong. I would be cautious with this particular one.

The caseback and movement seem genuine, the rest...not, how that came to happen is anyone's guess.
