However, it's nice that they are already making it out to the stores! Thanks for sharing!

It’s not making it out to the stores available for purchase I believe. This was at a planned Omega event at a Boutique and Omega brought it out for people to handle and see before they come out to the watch purchasing public. Please correct me if I am wrong @Martin_J_N.

I’ve been told I won’t see one till November or December of this year. That could possibly be because I am in the US.

I think it's a very nice watch...reminiscent of the ole' Great White! Do you have a wrist shot? Just curious how skin tones play off the dial. I'm still impartial to mine (see avatar), and in a close second the silver dial. However, it's nice that they are already making it out to the stores! Thanks for sharing!

No sorry, only took the picture after I had tried the watch on. The store doesn't actually have the watch, it was bought in by Omega as part of their event in the store, the watch is the only one in the UK at the moment according to the sales team.

Thats correct, the watch I handled was not for sale, it was the only one in the country and at the store because it was part of Omega’s promotional tour, where as everyone is aware, the objective is to get advance orders and deposits on watches (Moonwatch 50th excepted).

I’ve been told that the watch will be available in UK stores in November.

I'm also surprised by the amount of disdain people seem to have for the bracelet. It's comfortable and fits well with the rest of the watch. And I don't think it looks particularly dated either, which is a critique I see frequently here on OF. As for the new white dial--looks fantastic!

Me too, recently purchased a watch with this bracelet and I really like it. Maybe it's something you grow to dislike after a while, who knows but for now I'm a fan.

[EDIT]forgot to comment on the new white dial SMP, I think it's a stunner! Will look forward to seeing one in the metal. They're aren't many really nice white dial divers about and this one looks like it should sit right near the top of the pile.

Very clean look. Agree it would look best on the rubber strap. Might look a bit over-shiny in the bright sunlight

Personally I am not certain the black bezel completely works with the white dial. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a mod. Bearing in mind this thread is about white dial SMPs, I am surprised you haven't posted your latest acquisition Tet. If you won't I will!

Haha, trying to contain my excitement and not break everybody's balls. And yes I do think the great white is even better than the new white dial SMP 😉

Great pic BTW, but well it was yourself that helped push me over the edge to buy the thing.

I like the dial but I'm not sure about the bracelet I reckon a NATO or a rubber would be better suited

Although it looks very "contrasty" - for me, it looks more like a toy-watch instead of a tool-watch.
Probably I have to see it in the flesh. I much prefer the darker dials on the omega seamasters.

Wow--I think it looks surprisingly good in that pic. I thought it would be difficult to read, but it seems to have ample contrast. Looks like a fun watch, and it would be especially sporty on the strap.

Wow, I have to say I am in love with this new release from Omega. Contacted my local AD about arrival times for rubber strap models. Very exciting!

I'm a fan off the white ATs and like this one too, but think that the white dial aesthetic works better with the AT's teak planking than the more aggressive waves of the SMP. One of my favourite things about my SMP 300 (black wave) is how it changes with the light and angles, turning grey and deep black and various striking shades in between. It's dynamic, changeable, layered, nuanced, almost alive, like water under shifting skies, and I just don't see that carrying over to the white dial -- but that may be a function of the promo shots.

Bought on a bracelet because not much in the price compared to rubber. Really don’t like the bracelet so I’ve put it on a nato until rubber strap arrives. Love the watch though.

Agree to me it looks like a watch with lots of golf ball.
