Here you go. Didn't have a perfect base photo for this, but it gives a general idea.
You can throw anything into Speedy case!

Ok I want this watch. I missed the ST1 boat but I'd take this any day as an alternative

Well maybe it could work to close the gap with the use of the hesalite with the silver tension ring? (The one that is used for the early Speedmasters 105.002 and earlier?

It has the part number 063PZ5078

SHould work no problem... As noted the only thing is a crystal with a tension ring might look better.

The black one also has the same black ring, so I don't think it would make a difference unless you want the silver coloring.

FWIW This seamaster thing I thought of before and made many photoshop mockups too, but personally didn't go for it because it didn't say speedmaster on the front 😁

Well actually they have a slightly different inside diameter and thus why I suggested it.

Firstly, please don’t burn me at the stake for asking but could you fit a Seamaster 145.016 dial (861 movement) into a Speedmaster case?

Reviving this as I was scrolling through eBay sold listings and found this gem that reminded me of this thread. I would venture to guess that the 145.016 dial will fit into a 145.022 and later case.

I wonder if this chap is selling to recoup costs having put the seamaster dial in the speedy case!?

😀

That would be the only reason for doing this!
