My seamaster collection now stands at 3...next year will be my 40th birthday so is there another Seamaster (maybe a rarer example) that I could add?

Maybe go vintage?

That's an option, I like the look of yours. Any good references to keep an eye out for?!

I'm a total sucker for Seamasters. I hope to add another one this year.

Or you could get the vintage look without having to worry about whether all the parts are original/correct/in good condition by getting one of the modern1948 reissues.

Looking at your collection, you seem to like diver's watches... There are vintage models as well.

That line up is missing a 2254.

Sorry 2264 quartz is as close as I can get.

For vintage, I once had a black dial 14700 that I loved and foolishly "sold" to someone who ripped me off when I said she could pay over time. Then the excuse was "it's broken". Not my fault! Argh. Still makes me mad.

I also have a 2254.50 and a "WatchCo" Seamaster 300. Any of these are good choices.

One of my greatest watch regrets is selling a black waffle dial vintage seamaster, a bit like this:
🙁

I personally love the Seamaster cal. 321 @kov has for sale. If I had the readies I’d snap it up immediately, if not sooner.

Hope you don’t mind me name dropping, Kov.

So many good options from you guys, thanks a lot. Hopefully my budget will stretch to more than one.
Im sure this question has been asked many times but... When does a watch become vintage!?
