@ulackfocus

Except those are not speedy pro hands. Maybe MK II or MK IV.

Not much $$ in those hands.

I should have made a photograph of David’s face (the watchmaker at The Omega Museum) when he checked my red hands and said... « Mmmmmmhhh.... Whhhaaat the heck ! Those appear to be original. UNOBTAINIUM !!! » His face was totally priceless.

Just sayin. 😉

psssst - don't tell anyone, but:

😉 😜

For the sake of my research, I’d be interested to know where this one will end up and particularly whether it’s a 145.006 or a 145.016 😗

If the buyer can share the details, I’d really appreciate 😀

P.S. I can keep secrets 😁

Better yet, is it a .006 with an 861 or a .016 with a 321. That would make a couple people in this thread semi-correct.

been watching it. the dial is a mess.

I'd be willing to wager that's mostly crystal damage.

It was allready sold 2 weeks ago. Final price was around 2.500€. Seller relisted it, cause buyer wasn't paying.

.... and that's why it's called "gambling" instead of "winning". Just like "fishing" does not guarantee "catching". 😉

Fishing does guarantee "drinking beer", though. If you're doing it right.

It boils down to:

1) Are you willing to gamble, and if so up to what price?

2) How much experience, or access to information, do you have for those C-case Seamaster chronographs?

1) not on this one
2) none

So thank you for that interesting discussion!

Well, if the buyer paid 1,5k€ for a duck with a calibre 321 inside, this might have been a good ´spare parts’ deal at the end 😗
