Hey all - I have been lusting over this thing for a couple weeks now and am very close to pulling the trigger. Anyone have first hand experience with one? Looking for help finalizing a decision, one way or the other. Thanks.

Dude I’m waiting a while to pick something like that up. If you can do it, go for it, one never knows what tomorrow may bring. Good luck

Second hand experience: my cousin has an aqua terra and the movement is rock solid. Keeps very great time and looks amazing. I think he’s said the bracelet is nice as well. All and all a solid watch. Nice to dress up or dress down with a different strap. I’d say if you want it go for it!

No regrets and nothing but great things to say about mine. Why are there no pictures in this thread yet?

What reference are you looking into @17SGS?

The caliber 8900 is an excellent movement. METAS certified and very accurate.

I’m curious how the stainless steel high polish bezel holds up. Looks like it would be a scratch magnet compared to the harder bezels on watches like the SMPc (ceramic) or the Globemaster (tungsten carbide).

Yes, that is a problem for me. The watch bezel has way too many scratches. By far for that all my other watches, combined.

None for me yet. Although, I know they are coming sooner than later. It is not in my daily rotation so it gets less wrist time currently. I really like it and want to keep it in great shape for as long as possible. Currently in my carry bag en route to Disney World safely in its Omega travel case for dinners and night activities 👍.

Love that grey/blue that you have. I'm looking at this one:

Seems to be lots of positive feedback out there. Hadn't thought about the potential scratch issue, but probably inevitable unless you go to a ceramic version. This will likely get a lot of wrist time, so I will need to be able to accept that.
