Seamaster 300 master, to brush the links, or not?

I was able to get a second 300MC bracelet - the OEM limited edition spectre fully brushed (BCLs) bracelet. The boutique wanted $770USD for the full bracelet and clasp (STZ003191 + STZ003185). The boutique mentioned the STZ00145 PCL bracelet was significantly more at the moment - $990 IIRC.

I'm definitely like the fully brushed bracelet more for the time being but it's nice to have the original PCLs bracelet (STZ001145) to mix it up. I don't think there is an imbalance or lack of symmetry with the polished lug-tops and BCLs but I'll see if it gets to me in the future. I actually think the BCLs offset the length of the lugs which has been a minor aesthetic peeve of mine.

Hopefully the "007" branded clasp doesn't bother me too much and I might switch over to the STZ001145 clasp sans branding.

Excited to see how the BCLs look in sunlight.

I never thought I'd see this but it actually looks good brush. Having said that I would still stick with the original look. My two cents though

I like that PCL looks, but ultimately if your choice, cause you will wear that watch on your wrist. 馃榿

...The original 1957 Seamaster 300 had PCLs, and the new one is intended to be a faithful homage to it.
Not exactly....the original trilogy models had brushed center links and polished side links...just like the Trilogy reissues. I would LOVE to see what this SM300MC would look like with brushed center links and polished side links.
As much as I like a fully brushed bracelet, it somehow doesn't match the high polished lugs.

After first going the DIY route, the imperfections of my handiwork were starting to bother me, so I had it touched up professionally. Whether or not the BCL work from a "design language and symmetry" perspective is less of a concern for me. I was more concerned with bringing the bling factor down a few notches to suite my personal style. Results below:

Has anyone had their new 300smp bracelet brushed yet?
Just to loose the polished highlights that run down it.

Brushed on a Spectre could look very nice. Don't think I've seen a brushed bracelet on a '57
