Hi, hopefully someone can help with a little advice here. I have a seamaster 300 quartz 41mm bought new by me in 2009 from an AD and worn daily since then. At the end of most months I need to amend the date and unfortunately the hour quick change has stopped working. Everything else works perfectly on the watch . The watch was only serviced once in these 11 years with a service and fresh battery. Could this be something simple or must it go back to omega for repair. I can live with changing the time manually by 24 hours to change the date but wondering if there may be some other underlying condition. Many thanks in advance.

This is a failure of the hour wheel - not uncommon and eventually the watch will stop operating properly. The hour wheel needs to be replaced.

    Cheers, Al
