Seamaster 300 crown question

Greetings. I recently purchased this Seamaster 300, which I love. However, as a first-time Omega owner, I have a bit of a dumb question.

Am I correct that the crown and its three-position design is pull-and-push only? Adjusting the time can be done without screwing the crown out or in. Just making sure I have the operation correct in the interest of proper care. Because I wear it daily, it never needs wound.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Not completely sure I understand what you say, but seems wrong.

The crown is a screw-down design. Once unscrewed, it's in the manual wind position.

From there you have to more positions pulling the crown out: first is a jumping hour hand (up and down in 1 hour increments) and second is the normal time setting position, that also stops the seconds hand.

Push it back against the case and turn clockwise while pushing further a bit to screw the crown down.

Sorry I was unclear. However, your post did answer my question and I noticed the step I was missing. Thanks!
