I was wondering if it’s still possible to get replacement bezel inserts for the seamaster 2220.80 as part of a service?

    Thanks!

No, they will only replace the full bezel, its not cheap, around £200/$275 in addition to the service cost.

come to think of it I don't recall ever seeing just the inserts available, unless aftermarket. but I could be wrong.

Curious... What happened to the bezel of your SMP?

Ok, thanks, I'll look into that.

I managed to brush against a rough concrete wall which scored some deep gouges into the aluminium. I'm all for wear related ageing to the appearance, but this looks really unsightly, and I feel a bit sick every time I look at it...

There’s plenty of aftermarket ones on eBay. Some people worry about originality but it’s up to you if you want to spend hundreds $ or tens $. I’ve popped an all black insert into my Seamaster GMT to change its look and it only cost a few $. I’m happy to go aftermarket with inserts.
