·Hello, I'm new and its my first post so go gentle please. I'm very excited to be looking on here and posting about my own Seamaster.
I have recently purchased a '1969 Seamaster Automatic' which has a case number 162.009.
The watch has come with a black leather strap, which whilst in nice condition is not what i would like to have on the watch.
I was wondering if there is any way to find out what this model of watch could have been supplied with at the original time of purchase? Did they have optional straps/bracelets in the 60s?
I would like to purchase a steel bracelet to go with it, but want it to be as authentic a look as possible.
I've posted a couple of pics of the watch from when I purchased it for reference.
Any help greatly appreciated.
