I opened the caseback and seems like the watch is a 168.018 with omega reference 564, @dsio

Also, since I was told the crystal is not original, I was looking at options to get an original crystal. I see there are two options - PX5112 (yellow ring), PZ5112 (white ring). Since this is a stainless steel watch with gold case/lugs, should I get the yellow or white one? I'm not entirely sure what the original crystal must have had. Ofrei has the white one (in screenshot below).

PX5112 with the yellow ring is available on ebay -

I would get the white / silver one as that’s for steel, the other would be for gold cases.

168.018 makes more sense - and now you mention it, the dial does look flat and the unusual indices are more likely on a later .018 watch.

You can also see the radial brushing on the bezel.

The advice about 19mm straps still holds.

As it is a gold capped watch a crystal with a gold retaining ring would be correct for your watch.

Thank you for confirming!

Also is it still 19mm for the lug and 16mm for the buckle? I found this below which looks original. A bit pricey though.

18mm/16mm is the standard strap width combination for the earlier Constellations- and are comfortable widths (aesthetically)

The later Constellations take 19mm (lug width) straps.

19mm/16mm straps are much less common - they’re generally 19mm/19mm but you’re unlikely to find a 19mm vintage buckle.

The buckle you link to is the correct era ( definitely not 50s) but is very expensive and has been re-plated and the tang replaced.

If you want to have a new strap, my advice would be to buy a half decent 19/19 strap ( Hirsch or the like) and take your time finding a nice 19/16 strap and reasonably priced 16mm period buckle

For the buckle, just be vary of eBay, many many fake buckles, very rarely an original buckle, you need to buy a buckle after finding an 18-14 or 18-16 mm strap depending on the buckle size
