Hello
friends.

Springing off this previous thread (https://omegaforums.net/threads/my-latest-acquisition-an-omega-seamaster-166-010.50863/) about the Seamaster 166.010/168.024, I'd like to delve into some more details.
Surprisingly (for me!), I still have my 166.010 that I purchased in 2018 (that's a long time for me) and I'm really enamored by this wonderful, classy daily wearer.

Here's what I know, and please correct me if I'm wrong!
the 166.010 came with either a 562 non quick-set date, non chronometer movement, or a 565 quick-set date non chronometer movement. (the 168.024 came with the cal 564 chronometer quick-set movement). It takes crystal # 063PZ5031 or 063PZ5031L (with magnifying lens).
The correct bracelet for these is the (5-beads across) BOR #12 with #11 endpieces.

Mine has a 20XXX movement number which suggests a 1963 release date and is powered by the 562 movement. @Arhcer taught me the trick to a "semi-quicksetting" date by winding back and forth between 9pm and 1am.

Mine has the following features which are not seen on these Seamasters exclusively: the "coathanger S" with the Crosshair dial and the flat (hard to wind!) winding crown and I don't know the name of this style.
Are the above features in BOLD characteristic or typical of a certain production year or era?

That crown is the one it came with. It is discontinued and frequently replaced with the approved substitute.

The correct bracelet would be a 1036, with #11 or #511 end-links. Many clasps have a "12" on them, but that does not identify the bracelet.
