Seamaster 14755-62

Here's my Omega Seamaster 300 14755-2. It was my father's and had sat in a drawer for years until I retrieved it brought back to life about 10 years ago. Everything appears to be original, with the exception of the crown which required replacement when recently serviced. The bracelet is original, and has the stamp 7912 and 4-62. The serial number is consistent with a 1962 production date. The end links of the bracelet have the 6 stamps. The case appears never to have been polished. The lume inside the hands are gone, but the lume on the dial still glows. I never had a sense of the value and desirability of the watch until I started researching online, and have seen some draw-dropping prices at auction. I plan on selling the watch, and would appreciate any suggestions as to the best approach to determining value and selecting the best method of sale. As a new user, I doubt I'll get to the required 200 posts required on this forum. I look forward to the experts' feedback on the forum.

Very nice example. As you can’t sell here with less than 200 posts, the first “qualified” member to add to your thread gets it. ME😁

Seriously, I'm curious if the dial still has it’s original radium lume. The lume is gone from the hands and bezel . Yet the dial lume is full. Not unusual for the dial lume to have been replaced during an early service. Have you checked the watch with a Geiger Counter?

Your father had good taste. I have no intention (or means) to buy it. But these watches cost a fortune nowadays so trade it at the right price! The bracelet alone must be worth 1000 euros.

A wonderful inheritance. I think the sweep hand is a replacement. The dial looks relumed to me and more closeups and yes a geiger reading might help. But, if lume markers redone, curious why hands were not done at the same time?

Nice! Why not keep it? If you need to sell, I think ebay would give you the fairest chance to.
Cheers

New photos added - and have a better idea of a price range for the watch. Can't post here due to the selling restrictions. Aside from this site, where would be a good place to list? Ebay is an obvious choice, but considering the high value of the watch, I'm reluctant. Any feedback appreciated. - Chuck.
