Seamaster 145.029 with case back engraved

Hi Forum

just get this gorgeous Seamaster 145.029 , all good and nice, but the case back as the number 1121 engraved
Any idea what is representing ?

i know that some watch sold in Venezuela mostly Speed-Anakin Franken have something like that but looks like this watch did not left Switzerland.

any hint appreciated

Hi I got the information yesterday , the watch was delivered to Italy that means 1121 correspond to Italian market

Is it right to think that they were engraved in the factory?

Really the archive guy was too young to confirm that but , in the early 70´s they where trying those things for them is logic as the country code of Italy was at that moment 1121 and the watch was send to a Italian retailer all fits.

weel also they said Italian retailer and not the Distributor also said this can make a difference , during that time some retailers get direct access to Omega because previous contacts or agreements maybe was a way to know if the watches where coming back to another country, the grey market still exist today .

Wonder what countrycode 1011 was/is ?

I find it strange that they would put country codes on this particular reference and no other?



Mine should be from Spain then?
