A few years ago I saved a case from a local pawn shop just before melting, paying for the gold.

Very cool piece. Love the bezel!
I recently picked up this piece from early 80's.

Couldn't be much gold in the bezel and interlinks?

In my meanderings along the Omega roads less travelled, I've come across another couple of quartz 120s that intrigue me.....

The Recife

and the Calypso

I wouldn't say no to either 馃槈

(pictures from the net)

Any idea where to get the original bracelet for this calypso?

So how did that restoration project end up? Was flipping through Marco Richon's "Omega : A Journey Through Time" book today and took a picture of the SM120 Mayol Family...and then realized I hadn't worn mine for a while ;-)

Family :

- ST 796.0844 (596.0052) : Lady "Mini" version with 1380 - ? mm
- ST/DD 396.0947 (196.0252) : "Midi" version with 1430 - 35.5mm (with crown ?)
- ST/DD/BA 396.0900 (196.0185) : Men's version with 1337 - 37mm

Mine (pardon the fingerprints on the glass)

I've the Mini & Men's version, it's fun to see that you don't set the time in the same way.
The Mini, it's classic, a crown with 2 positions for date & time.
The Men's (Caliber 1337), you've to press a button and pray to have the second rotating to change minutes. The date & Hours can be set by setting crown in position 1.

Indeed, I think you need the "Midi" now for a "hat-trick" ;-)
BTW what's the width of the "Mini" ?

Good idea for the hat-trick but the smallest version is for my wife, but she never wears her ... I told myself that it would be nice to have the same model, I was wrong

The small is around 27mm without crown see there :

Thanks for measuring it and for the picture. Too bad she's not wearing it, such a nice watch ! It's the two-tone too so it's got style ;-)
I got the 32mm Ti Polaris for my wife that complements my Ti Polaris 1/100th Chrono and she does wear it when she wants a "nice watch" instead of her Garmin. If you ever want to part with the mini, let me know !

Mine is at the watchmaker currently for that exact reason .... seconds hand doesn't advance anymore. Now I need to find a working donor movement for the part, because Omega has no spares for the seconds/minutes advancing mechanism anymore.
Luckily the 1337 movement was in plenty of old quartz seamaster that can be had for cheap, to find a working one is the crux.
